Author | Raf Ade
Where to go when you fancy a drink.
Ireland is known for its pubs, and rightfully so. With a rich history of beer brewing and distilling that dates back to 5,000 years ago, the island has a pub culture that is unique and that has been exported around the world. From cozy country pubs to trendy urban bars, we have something for everyone when it comes to drinking. In this blog post, we'll explore some of the best pubs in Ireland.
π 1. Dick Mack's, Dublin
Dick Mack's is a traditional pub located in the charming town of Dingle on the west coast of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way. This pub is famous for its whiskey selection (250 options), which includes rare and hard-to-find bottles. The pub's interior is cozy and inviting, with a roaring fire and traditional Irish music playing in the background. Also, check out their Wall of Fame which features stars who visited the pub (Dolly Parton fans, you're in for a surprise). For these reasons and more, Dick's one of our five best Irish pubs.

ReplyDeleteRaf Ade, I really liked your post and tips. I love discovering new places with friends, a good wine or local beer, especially in Dublin, which has an incredible variety of pubs. I think that's a fantastic idea combining history with social life as you suggest the pub Durty Nelly's, definitely going there next weekend.

Live music and drinking to me, seems like a match made in heaven, so definitely looking forward to visiting some of these pubs. Although it wasn't mentioned in the post, to me, Bow Lane is definitely a good pub as well for those who enjoy some food with their drink. They have quite a good brunch selection in their menu that pairs well with a Guinness or whatever you prefer having :) - Julio
